Perspectives for Residential Well-being

Students sitting at the pylons, staring out at the drillfield. One leans over to speak to student next to them.

Want to make new friends in your residence hall, or get to know people you see every day on a deeper level? Perspectives can help you make real connections where you live and explore differences with a sense of unity.

What is Perspectives?

Through self-paced micro-lessons and twice-monthly small-group discussions, Perspectives will help you:

  • explore how our fast thinking isn’t always our best thinking
  • uncover the roots of our ideological differences
  • cultivate intellectual humility
  • welcome diverse perspectives
  • appreciate other worldviews
  • manage emotions in difficult conversations
  • master difficult conversations

Get swag!

Cultivating empathy is crucial. To show you how important your joining Perspectives is to Inclusion & Belonging, allow us to shower you with gifts, ranging from floppy to sticky, handy to fuzzy, pixel-ey to pizza-ey. Your I&B Student Leader has details.
