Student Affairs completes and complements a Virginia Tech education with hands-on, mindful experiences that prepare students for rewarding lives. Student Affairs is deeply committed to providing rich co-curricular learning opportunities and essential student services. Virtually every aspect of a student’s life outside the classroom is represented through the division’s departments.

Parent Advisory Council Membership

The Virginia Tech Parent Advisory Council is comprised of committed and engaged parent volunteers who provide recommendations and assistance to Student Affairs. The council also consists of institutional leaders and key volunteers who represent the interests of Virginia Tech families. Parent Advisory Council members will serve as a resource for the Vice President for Student Affairs and the university. Members have the opportunity to connect with the Vice President for Student Affairs and other university senior leadership.
