About Student Affairs Advancement

Student Affairs Advancement is a tripartite collaboration of alumni engagement, philanthropy, and communication efforts that foster, cultivate, and share the student experience. In support of Student Affairs’ mission to promote student learning, life skills, and personal growth, and rooted in our Aspirations for Student Learning, Student Affairs Advancement has the ability to make an immediate and direct impact on the Virginia Tech student experience.

Engaged alumni, private support, and inspiring stories allow us to build upon the world-class education students receive at Virginia Tech. In our increasingly competitive world, it’s not enough to provide a classroom education of the highest caliber; we need to offer ways for students to maximize and utilize what they’ve learned in their classes to experiences outside of the classroom.
