Get ready to learn how to be a Hokie!

Virtual orientation will be open from May 1-July 31 and is required for all incoming first-year, transfer, and international students. Visit our orientation portal and select "Family Member" to begin.

Register to meet one-on-one with an Orientation Leader. In this session, you can connect with a current student at Virginia Tech to help you navigate your transition, ask questions about moving to Blacksburg, life at Virginia Tech, and more!

If you can't find a session that meets the needs of your schedule, contact us at orientation@vt.edu.

Note: Registration opens May 1. To register, students must use their Virginia Tech PID and password.
